In the beginning of the story Howard went to the pond because they thought that the which was home. After that the witch came out of her house and said you wicked boy you where trying to steal my goose eggs so then the old witch scolded him and said you stole my geese eggs. so the old witch turn him into a goose. he was trying to make some plans and one of his plans where to go knock on the witch door.
In the middle of the story the witch told Howard that he good have three good deeds. So he was thinking of three good deeds. When he was in the pond he met moonlight dawn in the pond. His parents came to the witch house and said have you seen a boy and the old witch said no i have not seen a boy and the witch was lieing. Howard came out of the pond and went to his parents to see if he can get their attenchene and they ingorned him.
In the end of the story Howard is trying to use the one deed left because he already use the other two so he can get back and turn him into a human again. So Howard waited and waited and waited till summer time so finally the witch turned him back into the human. How he knew was that there was no webbed feet and the wings where gone.
The most and important thing that i learned is that i shall never ever steal geese eggs from old Lady's. Why is because if you steal something from old lady they are never going to like you and you can get in serious trouble.
